Another successful Junior Bake-Off took place on 6th July 2025 at North Wymondham Community Centre. The theme this year was ‘We’re all going on a Summer Holiday’ and the bake was a traybake. The contestants didn’t disappoint with fantastic ideas of decorating their traybakes, and by all accounts (according to the judges), the taste of the cakes were second to none! While judging took place, family and friends of the contestants were entertained with table-top activities, including support by the 5th Wymondham Brownies with games/crafting activities, young entrepreneur Freya selling her fantastic jewellery, and some delicious refreshments courtesy of Jacob and Sarah Williamson. Although there has to be a winner, all the Junior Bakers were winners on the day, with summer themes covering the beach, holidays in foreign countries, summer on the farm, camping holidays and colourful fish in the sea! Three-cheers for all the Junior Bakers who took part this year, WELL DONE!
