The enthusiastic Events Team at North Wymondham Community Centre is focussing on the year it was built for the latest in their series of 50^th anniversary events. Entitled “We Adore 1974”, it will take place in the hall in Lime Tree Avenue on Saturday 19 October 2024 from 7.30pm – 11.00pm. Those attending will be encouraged to dress in the style of the era and to bring their own buffet food and drink to match the theme. A prize will be awarded to the table with the most appropriate spread and the best outfit. There will be a Table Quiz of 50 questions, including some with a reference to the Top Ten hits of 1974, as well as the opportunity to dance to some of them.
