The annual Community Garage Sale on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August (10.00am – 3.00pm), hosted by North Wymondham Community Centre, is gathering pace, with over 50 households now signed up to be stallholders. It is the latest in a series of events to mark the 50th anniversary of charity owned and maintained building in Lime Tree Avenue, which won’t be open on the day but will have a list of participating homes displayed in the window. Potential bargain hunters are being invited to like the North Wymondham Community Centre Facebook page for last minute updates.
A spokesperson for the NWCC Committee said: “With so many people moving into the town, this a great way to get to know your neighbours and raise some cash from items that might otherwise have gone to landfill.”
